JOB SUMMARY

As the Director of Sales & Marketing for our new AC Hotel by Marriott, you'll lead the strategy to drive awareness, revenue, and demand across corporate, group, leisure, weddings, and social events. You'll play a key role in launching the hotel and positioning it as a premier destination in the market.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead the hotel's pre-opening and ongoing sales and marketing strategy.
  • Develop business across corporate, group, leisure, meetings, weddings, and social segments.
  • Build relationships with key accounts, planners, community partners, and local organizations.
  • Promote the hotel's 126 guest rooms, 4,500 square feet of event space, wedding suite, restaurant and bar, and outdoor gathering areas.
  • Drive awareness through digital marketing, public relations, partnerships, events, and community engagement in partnership with HCW's marketing team.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, site tours, and account development.
  • Partner with revenue management and hotel leadership on pricing, forecasting, promotions, and market strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to identify opportunities and adjust strategy.
  • Develop annual sales and marketing plans, budgets, goals, and performance reporting.
  • Negotiate and oversee hotel contracting with group and business transient accounts.
  • Recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on results and exceptional client experiences.
  • Represent the hotel within the community and build partnerships that strengthen its market presence.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Strong knowledge of hotel trend reporting, including ADR, Occupancy, and RevPAR.
  • Progressive hospitality sales and marketing leadership experience.
  • Proven success driving hotel revenue across corporate, group, meetings, weddings, and social events.
  • Pre-opening or new hotel launch experience preferred. Knowledge of brand positioning a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel sales, marketing, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue strategy.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies and public relations.
  • Strong experience with building community partnerships.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to turn strategy into action.
