Full Job Description
The Director of Rooms will oversee the daily operations of the Rooms Division, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services. This position ensures the highest level of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance in alignment with the Lodge's luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services staff to deliver exemplary service.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective room operations.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and ensure adherence to service standards.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of service and addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the resolution of guest issues and implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality.
  • Foster a culture of personalized service, ensuring all guests feel valued and well cared for.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the Rooms Division budget, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to room occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the Lodge's high standards.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems for linens, supplies, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure all guest room facilities are functioning optimally.
  • Human Resources:
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly review and update safety protocols to protect guests and staff.
  • Oversee emergency response procedures related to the Rooms Division.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the Rooms Division.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and driving financial performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the property for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Benefits:

Salary- $90,000.00 - $100,000.00
