Full Job Description
Audubon is currently seeking a Director of Right of Way to join our team. This role will be accountable for the overall business management of a designated market space or geographic segment within a Business Unit. The primary focus of the Director is the profitable and sustained growth of the assigned market or geographic segment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Areas of Responsibility will include:

Management:
  • Manages and oversees the Project Directors and Project Managers working on customer projects
    within the assigned segment.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains sound business practices.
  • Develops and implements strategic objectives for his/her team that are aligned with the Business
    Unit's strategic initiatives.
  • Is accountable for the safety of all assigned personnel.

Accounting:
  • Reports profit and loss figures for his/her assigned area of responsibility.
  • Consolidates and analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across his/her
    assigned area of responsibility.
  • Helps create segment forecasts and broad-based financial picture for assigned area.
  • Ensures assigned area meets or exceeds budgeted financial objectives, including revenue and margin
    leadership.
  • Provides inspiration, clarity and direction for the team, allowing them to understand their roles and
    accountabilities toward achievement of the segments tasks and goals.
  • Achieves excellence in all areas of business.
  • Champions change and effectively manages the implementation of new ideas.

Teamwork:
  • Reaches across the organization to learn from others and to be a productive contributor and vocal
    supporter of companywide initiatives.
  • Reinforces team approach both on customer projects and internal initiatives.
  • Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels within the organization.
  • Financial Management.
  • Develops and meets revenue and other financial goals for assigned area.
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization across assigned area.
  • Supports and provides guidance to the team in the negotiation of contract pricing, terms and
    conditions.

Business Development:
  • Supports and provides guidance to the sales / Business Development team in securing sales.
  • Is Responsible for sales and business development within his own unit and across the enterprise.
  • Internal Operations.
  • Reviews status reports of Project Managers and Senior Managers and addresses issues as
    appropriate.
  • Lends expertise to internal teams and task forces.
  • Enforces standard policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:

  • Associates Degree AND 20+ years of On the Job training.
  • BS Engineering, MBA.
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry related experience in progressively more responsible Project
    and/or Business Management roles.
  • 10 years of progressively more responsible Project and/or Business Management roles within the Oil
    & Gas or Hydrocarbon Processing industries.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated superior performance as a Project or Business Unit Manager within
    Audubon or similar organization.
