Director of Revenue Cycle
Location: Remote Position Type: Full-Time | Exempt
Salary Range: $ 52.88 - $ 56.10 per hour

Position Overview:
Kings View is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle to provide oversight and direction for revenue cycle operations, including electronic health revenue software (EHRS), billing, collections, reimbursement, and related applications and processes. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role leads strategies to maximize revenue and reimbursement, strengthens cross-functional workflows, monitors key performance indicators, and supports regulatory and payer compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Cycle Leadership:
- Direct strategies to maximize revenue, reimbursement, and collections through continuous improvement of systems, operations, communication, and goal setting
- Provide guidance and direction to revenue, billing, and collection teams and establish clear expectations for quality and performance
- Monitor key performance indicators to identify and resolve revenue, billing, collection, or EHRS-related issues
- Oversee change-control processes related to revenue, billing, and collections and ensure appropriate analysis and communication
- Review contract terms and conditions related to revenue processes to determine billing requirements and deliverables

Systems, Compliance & Optimization:
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to align EHRS, revenue, billing, and collections activities, goals, and outcomes
- Ensure system build activities support applicable regulatory requirements and revenue-cycle best practices
- Serve as a system resource for EHRS billing application development and enhancement as it relates to revenue workflows and procedures
- Analyze and validate workflows to support quality, compliance, security, efficiency, and effective system changes
- Support revenue, billing, and collection requirements for Medi-Cal, Medicare, private insurance, managed care, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), Community Supports (CS), and other applicable services
- Collaborate with leadership, external clients, and end users to identify opportunities to optimize revenue-cycle applications and processes

Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and support the Department of Revenue Cycle staff
- Develop project work plans, training materials, department documentation, and special projects as needed
- Build strong working relationships with leadership, teams, committees, customers, vendors, and external stakeholders
- Communicate status, progress, risks, and relevant revenue-cycle information to departmental leadership
- Participate in organizational leadership initiatives and strategic planning activities

What You'll Bring:

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, healthcare applications, information technology, or a related field
- Seven or more years of experience in revenue cycle management or a related field
- Knowledge of behavioral health CPT4 coding, general accounting principles, medical and behavioral health terminology, and healthcare administration practices
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, private insurance, managed care, and applicable state and federal payer requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate options, recommend solutions, and resolve complex issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills
- Ability to lead in high-pressure situations and work collaboratively across departments and disciplines

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- CPT4 coding certification
- Knowledge of ANSI 5010 X12 837 and 835 healthcare claim transactions and electronic data interchange (EDI) standards
- Experience with Credible EHR or other electronic health record systems
