Director of Revenue Cycle

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Revenue Cycle to lead and optimize the full revenue cycle across our organization. This role oversees end-to-end revenue operations, drives financial performance through data-driven insights, and partners closely with executive leadership to strengthen reimbursement, compliance, and operational efficiency. This position is fully on-site at our Princeton office.

Director of Revenue Cycle Responsibilities
  • Lead and optimize the entire revenue cycle, including AR, billing, collections, and payer performance
  • Develop and execute an annual revenue cycle plan aligned with organizational financial goals
  • Analyze KPIs, prepare executive-level reporting, and present performance insights to leadership
  • Partner on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning
  • Manage payer relationships, contract performance, underpayment trends, and denial strategies
  • Drive responses to payer policy changes and support data-driven contract renegotiations
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, state regulations, and payer requirements
  • Lead revenue cycle technology strategy, automation, and system optimization
  • Directly manage and develop the Business Office team, fostering accountability and a positive culture

Director of Revenue Cycle Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (related Master's degree strongly preferred)
  • 7+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience (ambulatory or multispecialty preferred)
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Deep knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, RVUs, and payer reimbursement policies
  • Strong experience with EMR/EPM systems (NextGen experience a plus)
  • Proven ability to analyze data, lead change, and improve financial performance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Schedule:
  • Minimum in-office hours Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
