Chemotherapy Infusion Registered NurseResponsibilitiesAs an important part of our clinical operations, your duties will include:
- Responsible for the preparation and administration of I.V. drugs to chemotherapy patients under the supervision of the physician
- Responsible for advising supervisors of medication and supply needs
- Education of cancer patients on nutrition and side effects of the drug used in treatment
- Scheduling patients
- Ensuring patient communication with billing/authorization departments
- Additional tasks as assigned
Chemotherapy Infusion Registered Nurse Requirements:- Valid New Jersey RN License
- Oncology Certification (preferred)
- I.V. Certification
- BLS Certification
- Mixing experience preferred
- Experience with an EMR system
- Knowledge of chemotherapy drugs
- 1 year of nursing experience is required for this position
- Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:- Monday to Friday, four 10-hour workdays with one rotating day off a week. 40 hours scheduled per week.
