How you'll make an impact in this role- Provide strategic, nationwide oversight of the end-to-end revenue cycle infrastructure across all Ascension markets.
- Lead revenue cycle policies and procedures, utilizing a strong ambulatory background to ensure immediate operational impact.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, building cross-departmental relationships and exercising good judgment on non-viable initiatives.
- Oversee departmental budgets and revenue valuation, applying analytical tools to drive operational improvements and robust forecasting.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Accountant. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
What additional preferences we're seeking- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and/or Business
- At least 3 years experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
- At least 3-5 years leadership / management experience
