Lead Exceptional Dining Experiences at One of Mobile's Premier Marriott Hotels

The Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel is seeking an experienced Director of Restaurants to lead our food and beverage outlets and help shape exceptional dining experiences for guests from around the world.

From our signature restaurant and lounge to in-room dining, you'll lead a talented team focused on delivering outstanding hospitality, memorable culinary experiences, and exceptional financial performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who enjoys developing people, elevating service, and driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership for all restaurant operations, lounges, and in-room dining while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, brand standards, and operational excellence.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop restaurant leaders and associates, fostering a culture built on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and Hospitality with Heart & Soul.
  • Partner with Culinary, Events, and Hotel Leadership to enhance the guest experience, introduce innovative dining initiatives, and drive business performance.
  • Lead financial performance through labor management, cost controls, inventory management, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization while maintaining exceptional quality and service standards.
  • Champion a guest-first culture by actively engaging with guests, responding to feedback, and continuously identifying opportunities to elevate the dining experience.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience, ideally within a full-service Marriott hotel or comparable upscale hotel or resort, including responsibility for restaurant operations. Experience within other large-scale restaurants, country clubs, convention properties, or similar facilities may also be a strong fit.
  • Proven success leading high-performing teams while improving guest satisfaction, operational performance, and financial results.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, beverage management, labor planning, inventory control, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Passion for coaching and developing associates while creating an engaging culture where teams thrive.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
