RN Director of Resident Care - Assisted Living
Full Time | Days
Responsibilities of an RN Director of Resident Care - Assisted Living:
Oversee resident care, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and state regulations
Assess changes in resident condition and coordinate appropriate care
Develop and update care plans; conduct care conferences with residents and families
Ensure accurate documentation, medication management, and physician order follow-up
Hire, schedule, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff
Provide staff training, orientation, and ongoing education
Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Manage nursing supplies and equipment to ensure proper availability and function
Qualifications for an RN Director of Resident Care - Assisted Living:
RN graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
Hold a current Rhode Island RN License
Minimum of one year experience in a clinical hospital setting, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility.
Ability to walk, stand, sit and bend intermittently.
Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and physically assist residents
