Qualifications

Director of Rehabilitation Responsibilities
  • Evaluate a Resident's condition and oversee the therapy department.
  • Attend meetings to oversee the quality and care of the therapy department.
  • Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
  • Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
  • Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Director of Rehabilitation Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited PT/OT/SLP/COTA/PTA program.
  • Must hold current and active therapy license or registration in state employed.
  • Experience as a Director or Rehabilitation or an ADOR.
  • Completion of orientation required by company policy.
  • Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
  • Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
  • Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
