Active therapy license or registration in the state employed.
Experience as a Rehabilitation Director or Assistant Director of Rehabilitation.
Completion of company-required orientation.
Health screening and TB test required within two weeks of employment.
Familiarity with compliance regulations at all levels.

Director of Rehabilitation Responsibilities
Evaluate a Resident's condition and oversee the therapy department.
Attend meetings to oversee the quality and care of the therapy department.
Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.
