Job Overview

We are looking for a Director of Clinical Reimbursement- MDS RN to join our team in ensuring that the safety and health needs of the senior age long term care residents are met at our facility in Minneapolis, MN. The Director of Clinical Reimbursement is responsible for the Coordination of RAI process and reimbursement process for long-term care.

This nursing position includes:
  • 80 hours every two weeks
  • Monday through Friday

  • Oversees MDS assessment/Care Planning as required by State and Federal law
  • Manages reimbursement system
  • Stays current regarding long term care trends and state/federal regulations
  • Uses Quality Indicator data, other reports to improve Quality Performance and MDS accuracy
  • Provides educational training related to MDS/RAI process to all staff on an ongoing basis and as needed
  • Other duties as assigned and directed


Required Qualifications
  • Associate of Science Associate Degree - Registered Nurse (required within 90-days after hire date)
  • Registered Nurse RN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing (may initially hold LPN licensure but RN licensure required within 90-days after hire date) within 90 Days
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows -AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year One to Three Years - Long Term Care
  • Basic computer skills
  • Supervisory skills
  • MDS Experience
  • ANACC Certification
