Summary of DutiesThe Quality Assurance and Risk Management Director has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss. The Director of Risk Management is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Risk Management Program are designed to comply with guidelines and standards of CARF, other regulatory agencies, and the UHS T.E.R.M. © Program.

Qualifications Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, or related health field preferred. Master's Degree preferred.
- Completion of BLS & First Aid within 30 days of employment
- Completion of Handle With Care within 30 days of employment
- Valid Airzona Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- At least four (4) years of experience in risk management/improving organizational performance within a substance abuse, acute medical, or psychiatric treatment setting.
- A strong knowledge of CARF, CMS standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing inpatient and outpatient care facilities.
