Full Job Description
Overview:

Serves as the central point of contact and facility liaison for Quality and Safety initiatives and the Safety Coach Program for the hospital. Facilitates communications between the hospital and PHC Quality and Safety. Represents Quality in hospital operational and quality meetings, safety huddles, accreditation surveys, regulatory investigations and for ISO Compliance. Responsible for leading and driving safety and quality performance improvement initiatives to address trends and deficiencies as identified by the Surveillance and Analysis team and set by PHC QSS. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement through use of Lean methodology, coaching, tools, data analysis, reliability, sustainability and spread. Manages and supports a portfolio of strategic projects using the PHC performance improvement model. Ensures all performance improvement activities are in compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies. Responsible for developing the practices and innovations that emphasize consistent delivery of patient centered care, while transforming patient access, choice, and experience for Piedmont Healthcare. Collaborates with leadership to set strategic direction for delivering a consistent and exceptional patient experience throughout the organization. Consults, coaches, mentors, and educates staff to effectively drive staff adoption of organizational values, and behaviors of the Patient Experience program.

Qualifications:

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration, health information, or other related fields Required

Work Experience
  • 5 years of progressive work experience in clinical quality control, performance/operations improvement, project management and analysis or a closely related field, to include three (3) years of leadership experience Required
  • Experience in patient and family relations or patient experience programs Required

Licenses and Certifications
  • None Required
  • CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Preferred
  • CIC - Certified in Infection Control Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC or QPI training Preferred
