Full Job Description
We9re looking for a Director of Product Management, Fan Care Community to lead our product management organization. You9ll report to the Sr Director of the Fan Care Community organization. You9ll work with team members to understand how to improve our fan community experiences including community engagement and safety. You9ll get insight from external partners to understand how to help EA achieve our goals and exceed fan expectations. You will prioritize features or releases to ensure we meet our short-term goals while moving towards the long-term portfolio vision. You are the go-to person for any issues or escalation within your product portfolio.

You are an expert product manager and great at business analysis, prioritizing work to maximize impact, and communicating progress and product updates to internal and external partners. You are constantly assessing the trends of fan communities and the gaming and interactive entertainment industries. You balance long-term strategy work with daily tasks. You are successful at leading complex work and have experience with people management. You are a strong leader and are effective at empowering your team to achieve their goals and your overall goals. You have experience in the gaming industry and Community Management organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for EA9s Fan Care Community product portfolio, ensuring alignment with fan needs and our business priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers while promoting a culture of customer obsession, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Build trusted partnerships across Engineering, Design, Community, Studios, Player Safety, Fan Intelligence, and Executive Leadership to align stakeholders, influence investment decisions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Champion customer-centric product development through fan research, analytics, experimentation, and emerging technologies, including AI and automation.
  • Lead portfolio prioritization and investment decisions, balancing player value, growth, technical complexity, and operational excellence.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap progress, and outcomes to senior leadership, ensuring understanding, transparency, and informed decision-making.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience leading customer-facing digital products or product portfolios.
  • 5+ years leading and developing a team of Product Managers.
  • You have experience defining product strategy, influencing executive stakeholders, and delivering measurable customer and business results.
  • You have product judgment, with experience using customer insights, analytics, and experimentation to drive product decisions.
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences with the ability to simplify complex concepts and build alignment across technical and business organizations.
  • Experience balancing long-term product vision with near-term execution.
  • Experience building products that create engaging, safe, and inclusive player experiences.
