Overview

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Regional Director of Outpatient Therapy in East Texas

Get to Know Your Team:
  • UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center includes a 49-bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and 9 Olympic fitness centers, with access to some of the most advanced therapy techniques and care available.
  • Oversight of 5 outpatient therapy clinic locations (Henderson, Carthage, Jacksonville, Rusk, and Whitehouse) with responsibility for approximately 16 to 19 FTEs across the region.

Responsibilities

  • The Regional Director serves as both a leader and practicing physical therapist, maintaining direct patient care responsibilities while supporting staffing needs, clinic operations, and team performance across assigned locations.
  • The role requires regular travel between clinics to provide on-site leadership, coaching, operational support, and clinical oversight.
  • Additionally, the Regional Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards; developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures; promoting quality outcomes and patient experience initiatives; and partnering with organizational leadership to drive operational excellence, growth, and continuous improvement across outpatient therapy services.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
  • 2 years' experience as a licensed physical therapist.
  • Current State of Texas License in PT.


Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years experience as a licensed physical therapist
  • Leadership experience
