Full Job Description
This role is responsible for collaborating with Sales, CRM, Brand & Creative, Ecommerce, Product Marketing, and Analytics to lead customer acquisition and performance marketing across the business. Duties include developing and executing integrated, full-funnel strategies that accelerate profitable growth across Consumer, Trade, and key commercial channels; driving Consumer acquisition across digital and physical retail while building sophisticated acquisition strategies for the Trade customer; and leading investment and performance across Paid Search, Shopping, Paid Social, Affiliate, Display, CTV/Video, and emerging channels. This role supports Sales with translating commercial priorities into targeted audience and media strategies that create demand across the business and connect marketing investment to broader business priorities.

How success is defined:

  • Develop and lead Visual Comfort's enterprise customer acquisition strategy across Consumer, Trade, and key commercial opportunities, driving profitable growth across digital and physical retail channels.
  • Manage strategy, investment, and performance across Paid Search, Shopping, Paid Social, Affiliate, Display, CTV/Video, and emerging acquisition channels, including annual and seasonal media planning, budgeting, forecasting, and optimization.
  • Identify and analyze new audiences, channels, markets, and growth opportunities, balancing near-term revenue objectives with customer quality, lifetime value, incrementality, marketing efficiency, and long-term profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales, CRM, and Analytics to develop differentiated audience and acquisition strategies for Trade, Retail/Showrooms, Wholesale, and other business priorities, while supporting customer activation, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Develop and manage a rigorous testing strategy across audiences, channels, creative, messaging, and landing experiences, leveraging performance and customer insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Brand & Creative, CRM & Lifecycle, and Ecommerce to optimize channel-specific creative, customer journeys, landing experiences, merchandising, conversion, retention, and reactivation while maintaining Visual Comfort's premium brand positioning.
  • Monitor and communicate marketing effectiveness across new customer growth, CAC, incremental revenue, ROAS/MER, conversion, customer quality, attribution, incrementality, and lifetime value; prepare forecasts, investment recommendations, and performance narratives for the CMO and senior leadership.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing performance marketing team over time, manage agency and external media partners, and foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.

What you will bring:

• 8 - 12+ years' previous experience in performance marketing, growth marketing and/or customer acquisition, ideally within premium consumer, retail, ecommerce, home, fashion and/or luxury-oriented businesses

• College graduate; advanced degree and/or relevant certification a plus

• Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating performance marketing systems and platforms, including Paid Search/Shopping, Paid Social, Affiliate, Display, CTV/Video and emerging channels

• Experience developing and scaling multi-channel customer acquisition, audience and media strategies across digital and physical customer journeys, with a strong understanding of customer acquisition economics, LTV, incrementality, attribution and marketing effectiveness

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience managing significant media investments and agency relationships

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities, while effectively navigating between enterprise strategy and detailed performance

• Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation, including strong cross-functional partnership across Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce and Analytics

• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate commercial priorities into customer audiences and actionable marketing strategies

• Commercially minded and intellectually curious, with a strong understanding of the relationship between media, creative, customer experience and conversion

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for this role

Compensation Range: $170,000 - $185,000

Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
