About the Role

The Director of People and Culture serves as the architect of Servpro Team Miller's talent, leadership, and culture strategy, ensuring the organization has the people and capabilities required to successfully execute its growth and acquisition objectives. This position is responsible for developing and executing the "people first" strategy necessary to support organizational growth through talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and human resources operations. The Director of People and Culture partners closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to build a high-performing workforce, strengthen leadership capability, and preserve the values and culture that have defined Servpro Team Miller's success.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute talent acquisition and workforce strategies that support organizational growth
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, retention, and performance management processes
• Design and implement leadership development competency and succession planning programs
• Partner with executive leadership to align talent, organizational design, and succession strategies with business objectives
• Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, culture, and the overall employee experience
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration efforts related to talent, leadership, culture, and organizational structure
• Provide oversight of HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, policies, and best practices
• Monitor and analyze key people metrics, including turnover, retention, recruiting effectiveness, engagement, and internal promotions
• Advise leaders on employee relations, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and change management
• Champion and reinforce the Company's mission, values, culture, and leadership expectations

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred
• A minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related discipline
• Experience in recruiting, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, organizational growth
• Must possess excellent communication, coaching, leadership, and relationship building skills
• Must be capable of influencing leaders across all levels of the organization and driving organizational change
• Experience in supporting muti-location organizations, acquisitions, construction, restoration, home services, or field service businesses
• Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
