DescriptionWe're seeking a
Director of Partnerships to help build and accelerate Partnerships as a new strategic growth vertical at TailorMed. Working closely with the VP of Strategy & Corporate Development, this role will help define how TailorMed identifies, launches, manages, and scales partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.
This role combines
business building, commercial development, and partnership execution. You will help shape the strategy and operating model for the vertical, own and grow key partner relationships, and identify and drive new opportunities that expand TailorMed's reach, capabilities, and growth.
You'll thrive in this role if you're energized by driving new initiatives, move quickly and learn fast, are comfortable operating in ambiguity, and don't confuse hard with impossible.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of partner relationships, serving as the primary business point of contact that drives success while identifying opportunities to deepen and expand within existing relationships
- Build and codify TailorMed's partnership playbook and operating model, defining how partnerships are evaluated, launched, governed, measured, expanded, and scaled
- Establish and track partnership KPIs, business objectives, and operating cadences to ensure delivery against strategic and financial expectations
- Proactively identify and resolve risks, blockers, and areas of underperformance across the partnership portfolio
- Identify, scout, and develop new partnership opportunities aligned with TailorMed's strategic and commercial priorities
- Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional execution across multiple internal stakeholders (e.g., product, R&D, sales, Implementation, marketing, etc)
- Build business cases, assess strategic fit and economics, and support outreach, commercial structuring, negotiation, and execution of new partnerships
- Bring insights from the market back into TailorMed's broader strategic agenda
Requirements- 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategy, commercial execution, consulting, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to build new initiatives or business areas where the strategy and operating model are still being defined
- Experience in healthcare technology, digital health, life sciences, pharmacy, or provider organizations is required
- Strong strategic, commercial, and analytical judgment, with the ability to assess opportunities, business models, partnership economics, KPIs, and performance
- Relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex external engagements and create alignment across internal stakeholders
- Energized by new and hard things, with the ability to move quickly, learn fast, and operate effectively in ambiguity
- Strong sense of ownership, persistence, and follow-through, with the grit to navigate setbacks and keep momentum
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
