DOF's Sheriff's Office serves and enforces court mandates, orders of protection, warrants, decrees, and property seizures. Additionally, the Sheriff's Office conducts criminal investigations of real property fraud, tax crimes, and the trafficking of illegal and untaxed tobacco products and synthetic narcotics, and monitors defendants referred by the courts for electronic monitoring.

As the Sheriff's Office continues to manage increasingly complex enforcement, investigative, technological, public safety, and interagency responsibilities, there is a need for a dedicated executive-level function responsible for coordinating strategic initiatives, monitoring implementation milestones, integrating performance information across divisions, and ensuring accountability for initiatives that span multiple operational areas.

To support this effort, the Sheriff's Office is establishing an Office of Organizational Strategy and Transformation, led by a Director of Organizational Strategy and Transformation.

The Office will serve as the central strategic coordination and performance management function for the Sheriff's Office, providing executive-level oversight of strategic priorities and cross-divisional initiatives. The Office will improve interagency collaboration, support data-informed decision-making, establish greater accountability for implementation, and advance continuous organizational and operational improvement.

The Director will provide dedicated leadership to coordinate and implement the Sheriff's strategic priorities while allowing operational leadership to remain focused on the day-to-day management of enforcement activities. The Director will translate the Sheriff's strategic priorities and performance improvement plan into an actionable implementation strategy with clearly defined objectives, milestones and timelines. This centralized approach will provide the Sheriff and DOF executive leadership with greater visibility into organizational performance and the status of high-priority initiatives while allowing operational leadership to remain focused on core enforcement activities.

Reporting to Sheriff, the selected candidate's duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

-Lead organizational initiatives on behalf of the Sheriff
-Coordinate the implementation of strategic priorities across the Sheriff's Office divisions.
