Red Cap is looking for an experienced VP of Operations to join our leadership team and help take a rapidly growing residential home-services business to the next level.
This is a key leadership position with broad responsibility across our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical operations. The VP of Operations will be responsible for translating company strategy into execution, building a high-performing leadership team, and ensuring the business operates with the discipline and infrastructure needed to scale.

Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
- Lead overall operational performance across multiple trades and departments.
- Oversee P&L performance, maximizing revenue, profitability, and long-term business growth.
- Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability throughout the organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop department and operations managers.
- Improve productivity, margins, capacity planning, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the executive team on growth strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Build processes and systems that allow the company to scale without sacrificing quality or customer experience.
- Identify opportunities and challenges early and take decisive action to improve business performance.
- Develop a strong leadership bench and create a culture of ownership and high performance.
Qualifications
Do I Have What It Takes?
- Proven experience managing a highly profitable home-services business
- Strong P&L and financial management experience.
- Significant experience leading managers and developing high-performing leadership teams.
- Deep industry knowledge across residential HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.
- A track record of growing businesses while improving profitability and operational discipline.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to get into the business when needed.
