Shift & StatusWhat Will You Do?As the Director of Operations at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. This role promotes the success of Pine Rest by the continued development and coordination of assigned programs. The Outpatient Recovery Services Director of Operations is driven to make an impact in the lives of those we serve and are motivated by the healing they witness first-hand each day. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:- Communicates and actuates mission to all ORS program/locations and throughout the organization.
- Leads division-wide customer service initiatives. Initiatives have the ability to affect the entire organization.
- With the Corporate Director, creates and develops strategic and operational plans for the division that will have wide-reaching impact on the community as well as the organization.
- Serves on organizational leadership teams and committees, participating in the formulation of organization-wide strategic plans and policies.
- Develops, coordinates and implements new clinics, programs and service initiatives with Corporate Director, regional directors and managers.
- Works with other operations directors to develop cross divisional programs and ensure smooth cross divisional operations.
- Develops division wide budget and provides oversight to regional directors and manager for input and implementation.
- Utilizes Pine Rest support structures to achieve goals and strategies for the division that may have an impact on the entire organization, collaborating with other organizational directors in making changes for better missional delivery.
- Utilizes organizational structures for better efficiency and to further develop core competencies of the ORS programs and clinics.
- Creates and develops short- and long-range goals and objectives, with ORS leadership team, and plans divisional activities to meet these goals. Documents the plans, projects, progress, results and related issues of these activities.
- Practices stewardship when developing and adhering to organizational budgets.
- With leadership team, develops protocols for divisional staff members' training from coordination of human resource training to computer systems training. May coordinate the training of new staff or existing staff on certain applications or procedures.
- Holds regional directors, team leaders and managers accountable for the actualization of strategies, plans, and budgets.
- Participates in the planning and implementation of new programs, processes and systems.
- Oversees support functions within the ORS Administration through the leadership of the regional and team leaders.
- Monitors divisional budget and goals, and provides corrective actions as needed.
- Clearly communicates expectations, requirements, results, and issues to Regional Directors and managers and provides clarification of key policies.
- Develops improved processes/procedures and monitors them for implementation and performance.
- Mentors staff to encourage their development.
- Gives and solicits feedback from staff to ensure a high quality of service and favorable staff relations.
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in field by reading appropriate books, journals and other literature and attending related conferences, seminars and the like.
What Does This Role Require?Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge, skills, experience and abilities are required in a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration or related area is preferred.
- Three to five years of progressively more responsible work experience in management.
