Your ImpactAs Director of Operations, you will lead containment and flow operations across a high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing environment. You'll drive operational performance, stabilize and scale production processes, and build the systems, leadership, and accountability needed to support rapid growth and world-class execution.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end containment and flow operations across a multi-shift manufacturing environment focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) performance
- Build, coach, and hold accountable a multi-layer leadership team including managers, supervisors, and support functions
- Standardize operations through visual management, tiered accountability systems, and defined work processes across shifts
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System (TPS) initiatives to improve throughput, reduce cycle time, and eliminate inefficiencies
- Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control teams to drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) and prevent repeat defects
- Monitor operational KPIs including productivity, throughput, quality, and labor efficiency while ensuring alignment between floor execution and ERP/MES systems
- Lead containment-related customer engagements, escalations, audits, and operational reviews
- Balance labor planning, production capacity, and operational priorities to meet delivery commitments in a fast-paced growth environment
- Develop organizational capability through structured problem solving, coaching, and continuous improvement methodologies such as A3 and 5 Whys
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or operations environments
- Experience leading high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing operations with accountability for significant business performance
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System (TPS), and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience driving performance against SQDC metrics and leading operational transformation initiatives
- Proficiency with ERP and/or MES systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field required
- MBA, Master's degree, Lean certification, or Six Sigma certification preferred
