Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Three to five (3 - 5) years of professional work experience in Risk Management or a related field.
• OSHA 30 General Industry Training.
• Experience working with and knowledge of local, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, including CAL OSHA.
• Experience with root cause analysis, incident investigation, safety assessments, and developing, implementing, and evaluating written safety plans.
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams to implement policies and procedures.
• Experience in public speaking, training facilitation, and communicating with members of the public in a service environment.
• Ability to communicate risk-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to identify and analyze trends/issues.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Office 365.
• Ability to travel throughout San Francisco, Marin, and San Mateo Counties.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to make sound business judgments promptly and demonstrated experience with prioritizing under time pressures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Insurance claims management experience.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
