Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star is hiring a Director of Nursing *Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, nights or calls* Director of Nursing at Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star: The Ambulatory Surgical Services Director of Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Director Nursing of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Center Clinical Director will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes
Qualifications: - Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
- Requires BSN; MSN preferred
- Preop/Pacu, ICU or Operating room experience
- 2 plus years strong leadership experience required
- Experience in a surgical services in either the acute care or outpatient setting
- RN License in the State
- BLS/ACLS/PALS required
- Excellent communication and people skills
