DIRECTOR OF NURSING ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Overall responsibility for running the healthcare department and ensuring quality resident care
- Complete assessments on all prospective residents and re-assessments as needed/annually
- Complete plan of care on all new admits and revise as needed/annually
- Utilize PointClickCare for all resident documentation - assessments, level of care, plan of care, charting, service updates, communication to floor staff, etc.
- Communicate with MDs on resident concerns, changes, updates, etc.
- Coordinate with the pharmacy and providers on necessary medication concerns
- Oversee Healthcare team and delegating to staff providing personal cares/medication administration
- Responsible for adequate staff at 24/7 healthcare facility
- Ensure resident charts and cares are complete per state compliance and licensure
- Maintenance of personal care supplies and PPE - ensuring adequate inventory and ordering as needed
