We're seeking a strong and compassionate
Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure the highest standards of resident care. If you're a licensed RN with leadership experience and a passion for long-term care, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Duties:- Supervise and manage all aspects of the nursing department
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and care standards
- Assess resident needs and oversee individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct rounds, evaluate care, and initiate corrective actions
- Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and administration
- Oversee budget planning and resource allocation
- Lead educational programs and staff development initiatives
Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license (BSN preferred)
- Experience in long-term care is a must, a minimum of 2 years of SNF DON experience is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically active environment
