Director of Nursing Services $10,000 sign-on bonus available!*Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing Services to join our care team at The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill. As a Director of Nursing Services, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our nursing services department.
Responsibilities:- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, according to state and federal guidelines and scope of patient care.
- Maintain and review, and have input to development of all clinical policies and procedures.
- Determine the staffing needs of the nursing service department, making recommendations to the Administrator, necessary to meet the needs of the residents.
- Oversee licensed nursing staff, develop work assignments and schedules, and assist with daily rounds and visual inspections.
- Review satisfaction of care and services with interviews with families and residents.
- Develop and maintain an on-call program for the nursing department.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- CPR certified.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a nursing leadership role required (DNS, ADNS, Staff Development, etc.).
- Prior experience with SUDS of behavioral preferred.
Compensation:- Salaried role with weekly pay ranging from $150,000 to $170,000, based on experience.
