How you'll make an impact in this role- Lead the architecture and national rollout of nursing leadership development frameworks that align clinical excellence with Ascension's long-term strategic goals.
- Lead strategic mentorship, succession planning, and continuous professional growth programs for nurse leaders. Partner closely with executive nursing leadership, HR, and multidisciplinary teams to proactively identify future workforce trends, workforce shortages, and competency gaps.
- Design and execute visionary operational goals that align clinical workflows with the medical, administrative, legal, and ethical standards of Ascension.
- Leverage data analytics (such as NDNQI insights) to address clinical variations, minimize safety gaps, and Champion evidence-based practices across Ascension, ensuring that investments translate into measurable improvements in retention, engagement and patient safety metrics.
- Collaborate with regulatory teams to support internal and external regulatory audits. Synthesize national clinical standards and evidence-based research into enterprise nursing operations, empowering nursing teams across all ministries to reduce clinical variation.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Master's degree in nursing required.
