Job Description
Overall duties of the Director of Nursing
• Supervising and reviewing nursing staff.
• Overseeing the department budgets.
• Reporting to high-level staff members.
• Maintaining high standards of care.
• Managing patients' data and medical records.
• Interacting with doctors, patients and family members.
Qualifications
Prior experience preferred as a DON well as having at least 4 years working in a skilled facility. Experience as a MDS coordinator is also a plus if no experience as a DON.
