Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team at our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in
Dover, NJ. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or a nursing home who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and delivering exceptional resident care.
As our
Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, lead a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensure compliance with CMS and Department of Health regulations, and help drive quality outcomes throughout the facility.

Director of Nursing Responsibilities:- Direct the daily operations of the nursing department.
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Ensure high-quality resident care through individualized care planning and clinical oversight.
- Maintain compliance with CMS, Department of Health, and all federal and state regulations.
- Monitor quality measures, audits, infection prevention, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, employee performance, and nursing department operations.
- Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence.
Director of Nursing Qualifications:- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, or other nursing leadership role.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Rehabilitation Center, Post-Acute Care, or Nursing Home preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey readiness, infection prevention, and quality assurance.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
