How you'll make an impact in this role- Establish departmental goals and operational policies that align with clinical, legal, and health system standards across assigned specialty areas.
- Direct all patient care delivery, quality assurance, complaint management, and external/internal audit readiness.
- Manage departmental budgets, optimize resource allocation, and remove operational friction to achieve fiscal and clinical targets.
- Partner with physicians and executive leadership to streamline operations, staff utilization, and equipment workflow.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and staff development.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking- ER, ICU or Step-Down Unit experience.
