About the Role

TalentCount is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the company's marketing strategy, strengthen brand awareness, and drive business growth. This individual will serve as a key brand ambassador, bringing the company's culture, story, and values to life across all marketing initiatives.

The Director of Marketing will lead the marketing function from strategy and campaign development through execution, measurement, and optimization. This role will also build and manage the marketing team, oversee agency partnerships, manage the marketing budget, and collaborate closely with Sales, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy across digital campaigns, print, content, partnerships, social media, email, search, and display.
  • Build, lead, and manage the Marketing team, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance management.
  • Establish marketing KPIs and monitor team and campaign performance against organizational objectives.
  • Lead marketing initiatives from ideation through execution, measurement, optimization, and reporting.
  • Identify, source, and manage relationships with external marketing agencies and partners.
  • Develop strategies to strengthen brand awareness, increase sales, and improve the company's competitive position.
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving digital marketing best practices.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget across channels and platforms.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance and develop actionable strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, IT, and other internal stakeholders to ensure marketing and digital initiatives are aligned.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies, digital innovations, platforms, and systems that improve marketing effectiveness and organizational productivity.
  • Serve as a key brand ambassador and ensure marketing efforts remain aligned with the company's culture, story, values, and objectives.
  • Make high-level decisions and independently develop solutions when established processes or policies do not exist.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience.
  • Proven experience building, leading, and managing a marketing team.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and tools.
  • Experience working with and managing digital marketing agencies.
  • Proven experience developing and managing marketing budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing analytics and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success managing and executing marketing campaigns that achieve defined business objectives.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
