Description

The College of Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Director of Marketing, Recruitment, and Student Placement. Under the guidance of the Dean and in collaboration with program leadership, faculty, staff, and University partners, the Director will lead and coordinate strategic marketing, student recruitment, student placement, and outreach initiatives that advance the visibility, growth, and success of the College and its academic programs.
Examples of Duties
Develop and implement marketing and recruitment strategies for undergraduate and graduate programs, including the BSPH, MPH, DrPH, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and Health Care Administration programs.

Engaging diverse stakeholders, including health departments, government agencies, medical centers and hospitals, health centers, non-profit health organizations, etc.

Proficiency in social media marketing strategies and content marketing.

Represent and promote the College of Health Sciences at College Days, career fairs, high school and community college visits, recruitment events, and other outreach activities.

Engage and welcoming prospective and new students and contribute to the planning and organization of student orientation activities.

Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare, public health, education, social service, community, clinical services, and professional organizations

Identify and develop practicum, internship, clinical training, and career placement opportunities for students and assist in preparing Memoranda of Understanding and partnership agreements.

Serve as a strong advocate for the College's programs aid students by promoting academic, programs, student success, career pathways, and professional opportunities.

Collaborate with program leadership, faculty, and staff to support student recruitment, experiential learning, career development, and placement.

Collect and use data on recruitment, enrollment, partnerships, and student placement activities to assess outcomes and recommend improvements.

Perform other related duties in support of the strategic priorities and mission of the College of Health Sciences.

Typical Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess a master's degree in marketing, communications, health sciences or a related held, public relations, or business administration, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

The candidate should demonstrate experience in marketing, student recruitment, enrollment management, student services, career development, partnership development, student placement and possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and relationship building skills. Experience working with diverse students, community organizations, healthcare institutions, employers, and educational partners is required.
