Full Job Description
Lead marketing for Padel39 and fuel our growth, running acquisition hands-on and building the team as we scale.

Description

About Padel39 Padel39 is on a mission to make padel a mainstream American sport, and to be the brand that leads it. Padel is the fastest-growing sport in the world, and we are building the premium, community-first clubs that bring it to life. Our clubs are more than courts. They are social hubs with hospitality, fitness, and coffee built in, where players come to compete, connect, and belong. We are growing fast and building something category-defining, and we want people who are here to help build a sport, not just fill a job.

About the Role We are hiring a hands-on, growth-first Director of Marketing to lead the function and fuel our growth. You will report directly to the COO, personally run acquisition, and build the marketing team beneath you. This is a builder role for someone who wants to help scale a brand and a sport.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid acquisition end to end across our clubs. Build and run Meta and Google campaigns hands-on.
  • Own CAC and marketing analytics. Stand up attribution and channel measurement, and hold spend to efficiency targets.
  • Own the marketing budget and the weekly acquisition and retention reporting.
  • Drive member acquisition at new and ramping clubs through paid media, membership funnel conversion, ambassadors, events, and local organic.
  • Own lifecycle and retention: segmented email, membership conversion, and member engagement through the CRM.
  • Hold brand standards and voice, and direct design resources.
  • Build out your marketing team in the first 60 days, hiring and onboarding across growth, partnerships, and design. The Social Media Manager reports into this role.
  • Lead launch marketing for new club and market openings.

Requirements

  • Five or more years in growth or performance marketing, with paid acquisition you have personally owned and operated.
  • Hands-on Meta and Google Ads experience. You have built and run campaigns yourself, not only managed an agency.
  • Strong CAC discipline. You can instrument channels, stand up attribution, read the data, and cut what does not perform.
  • Multi-location or multi-unit experience. Hospitality, fitness, or lifestyle preferred.
  • Lifecycle and CRM fluency: email, segmentation, and conversion funnels.
  • Brand range to hold standards and direct designers.
  • A builder, comfortable doing the work now and growing a team over time.
  • Austin based, with some travel.

Benefits and Perks

  • Health insurance, 15 days of paid time off, and training and development support.
  • Free padel membership, and access to events and community programming.

Growth Path This is a build-and-grow role. As Padel39 scales, strong performers grow their scope, their team, and their impact with it.

Details Full time. Based in Austin, Texas. Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
