Job Functions:

The Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing and communications strategy that supports the company's growth objectives, brand positioning, culture, and sustainability commitments. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight for all marketing, internal communications, external communications, and brand storytelling initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Own and execute the company's marketing strategy to strengthen brand awareness, support commercial objectives, and generate high-quality sales leads that convert to profitable revenue.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the Marketing function, ensuring consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, digital content, category playbooks, sales enablement tools, trend reports, and public-facing thought leadership.
  • Partner closely with Sales, R&D, and New Product Launch teams to translate technical and operational capabilities into compelling customer-facing narratives.
  • Guide long-term brand and content strategy to support market differentiation and executive thought leadership.
  • Develop and implement integrated internal and external communication plans that align with company strategy, culture, and business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on messaging, positioning, change communications, and issue management.
  • Prepare executive communications and presentation materials for leadership, including Board-level materials, investor communications, and monthly business reviews.
  • Develop thought leadership content such as executive speeches, presentations, articles, and industry commentary.
  • Support executive visibility across external channels, including social media, speaking engagements, and media opportunities.
  • Lead planning and execution of internal and external events, including town halls, leadership meetings, customer events, and industry engagements.
  • Ensure events and programs align with brand, culture, and sustainability values and reinforce key strategic messages.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing and corporate communications, including leadership of both internal and external communications.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing brand, content, and thought leadership strategies.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, advise, and partner with senior leaders.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the company.

Travel: Local travel to various worksites as required.
