POSITION: Director of Marketing

REPORTS TO: General Manager
THE ROLEThe Director of Marketing will lead revenue focused, strategic planning and execution across multiple lines of business within the arena. Responsibilities span digital and traditional marketing, external communications, creative oversight, partner integration, advertising, promotion, and publicity while ensuring all strategies consistently align with the Legends Global Marketing Network standards of excellence.
Responsibilities may shift dynamically through technology and AI integrations. Liaises with Legends Global Marketing Network VP on various program integrations, venue support and Marketing Network strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTouring Event Marketing - Regularly review ticket sales metrics and apply marketing tactics to drive awareness and sales as needed.
- Collaborate with promoters to lead venue marketing support, planning and timeline management for all touring events.
- Initiate and execute digital marketing efforts for large-scale campaigns, driving ticket sales, and maximizing event awareness.
- Serve as a cross-functional connector with venue stakeholders (general manager, booking, box office), Legends Global Home Office, client administrator, tenants, etc.
Lines of Business & Revenue Generation - Collaborate with venue sales team and Legends Global Home Office to develop and implement premium seating and private event specific revenue-generating marketing campaigns.
- Utilize data and CRM platforms to build targeted marketing campaigns that increase ticket conversions and repeat guest visitation.
- Manage in-venue digital and static assets to maximize ancillary revenues.
Paid / Traditional Media - Own strategy and execution of paid media across all channels.
- Understand, review, and measure all campaigns against revenue-focused KPIs.
- Work directly with media partners for value-add opportunities and execution support.
- Own the indirect marketing budget ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to drive revenue opportunities.
Social & Digital Marketing- Create and manage venue calendar and content posting cadence.
- Develop strategy and facilitate process including competitive analysis, data reporting, and platform updates.
- Manage social listening and metrics evaluation in Sprout Social.
- Maintain and optimize all owned digital assets (website, socials) to ensure a frictionless path to purchase.
Media Relations & Creative Oversight- Directs the public relations image of the facility.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with media, industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.
- Acts as facility spokesperson and liaison with the general public.
- Assign or create all creative content and revenue-focus for all above items.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in marketing or related field
- Minimum of 5-6 years of marketing experience
- Previous experience in entertainment and/or venue marketing preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communication with C-level clients
- Professional verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills
- Candidates should possess excellent time management, strong work ethic, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively supervise staff
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Professional presentation and appearance and work ethic
