Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Lead labor relations strategy: Design, implement, and oversee labor relations strategy to align with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, labor laws, and statutory requirements
  • Oversee labor disputes: Lead negotiations, grievances, mediations, arbitrations, and labor claims, including EEOC charges and local/state employment issues
  • Provide expert guidance: Advise senior leadership on labor-related matters, offering strategic support in conflict resolution, legal compliance, and decision-making
  • Ensure legal compliance: Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, regulations, and court rulings, ensuring fair and consistent application of procedures across the organization.
  • Oversee wage administration: Ensure strategic alignment and accurate application of wage policies, maintaining compliance with labor agreements and compensation structures.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
