WHAT THEY OFFER YOU
  • A true seat at the leadership table: direct reporting line to the President/COO with genuine ownership of technology strategy, budget, and roadmap for the entire enterprise
  • A meaty project portfolio from day one, including a NetSuite ERP implementation, custom mobile application development, and the continued build-out of a proprietary POS platform with external commercial potential

  • A culture built on teamwork, trust, accountability, and humility, where institutional knowledge runs deep and leaders are given real context to make informed decisions
  • Competitive compensation package including annual bonus opportunity

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • Owns delivery across the company's highest-visibility technology initiatives, ensuring projects land on time and on budget after a period of significant investment in new platforms
  • Directs the ERP implementation from the IT side, managing system integrations, vendor relationships, and cross-functional impacts in partnership with the finance organization
  • Oversees infrastructure, store systems across ~90 locations, corporate applications, and the development environment supporting multiple business entities
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for point-of-sale technologies, guiding upgrades, new implementations, and the platform's continued development for external customers
  • Partners with the fractional Chief Security Officer to protect company systems and data in an environment where security vigilance is an operational reality
  • Ensures business continuity and disaster recovery readiness for a distributed, always-open retail operation
  • Builds credibility and alignment across a long-tenured organization where technology decisions touch every department, from the field to the home office

  • Hands-on leadership style suited to a lean team in a mid-sized organization: strategic enough to own the roadmap, practical enough to stay close to the work
  • Strong communication and consensus-building skills for an environment rich in institutional knowledge, where buy-in matters as much as authority
  • Experience in retail, quick-serve restaurant, distribution, or other multi-site consumer-facing operations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field required
