DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL EMPLOYER SERVICESThe
Director ofInternational Employer Services leads the Utah Center for Immigration andIntegration's efforts to assist Utah employers with international workforceneeds. This position serves as the primary resource for businesses seekinginformation on lawful international hiring pathways, employment-based visa andwork authorization programs, and resources that support the recruitment,retention, and successful integration of international employees.
The Director worksclosely with employers, state and federal agencies, educational institutions,and community organizations to connect businesses with available resources andstrengthen Utah's ability to attract and retain international talent.
POSITION DETAILS& COMMITMENT- Salary - $45.00 - $50.00/hr
- Work Format - Hybrid (60 E South Temple, Suite 300, Salt Lake City, UT)
- Schedule Code - AC - Employees in Offices of Elected Officials

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the primary resource for Utahemployers regarding international workforce programs and employment pathways.
- Assist businesses in identifying lawful options for recruiting and retaininginternational employees.
- Connect employers with appropriate state, federal, and community resourcesrelated to international hiring and workforce integration.
- Build partnerships with businesses, industry associations, local governments,educational institutions, and community organizations.
- Develop employer resource guides, educational materials, and outreachprograms related to international workforce services.
- Coordinate workshops, meetings, and employer engagement activities.
- Coordinate with state agencies to improve access to international workforceresources and services.
- Monitor employer needs and trends related to international workforcerecruitment and retention.
- Represent the Center at business meetings, conferences, and community events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATEQUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in business, internationalbusiness, public administration, economic development, workforce development,or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four years of experience in employer services, international business,workforce programs, economic development, or a related field.
- Experience working directly with employers and external partners.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience withemployment-based immigration, international workforce programs, or globaltalent recruitment.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment authorization and visa programs.
- Experience working with businesses, government agencies, or communityorganizations.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,& ABILITIES- Knowledge of international workforce programs and employer services.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with employers and partnerorganizations.
- Ability to explain complex state and federal programs in a clear,business-focused manner.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional customerservice.
