Job Summary

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

The Director of Insurance Solutions serves as a trusted resource to financial professionals by demonstrating the value of Cambridge's planning and insurance solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance client outcomes, and helping advisors integrate planning strategies into their practices. The successful candidate will develop strong advisor relationships while collaborating across teams to support business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to increase adoption of Cambridge's insurance and financial planning solutions through Advisor outreach, referrals, networking, and internal partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective and existing Advisor opportunities.
  • Conduct consultative sales meetings, demonstrations, and presentations with financial professionals.
  • Identify opportunities for solution enhancements, upgrades, and increased advisor engagement.

Advisor Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial professionals throughout the Cambridge network.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant on financial planning and insurance-related solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for advisors utilizing planning and insurance technology platforms.

Product Demonstrations and Training
  • Conduct comprehensive demonstrations highlighting key functionality, features, and value propositions.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing educational support to financial professionals.
  • Stay current on product enhancements, industry trends, and planning strategies to ensure accurate and effective guidance.

Insurance and Financial Planning Consultation
  • Partner with financial professionals to understand client goals and recommend solutions that support comprehensive financial planning.
  • Leverage financial planning expertise to help advisors effectively utilize available technology and insurance planning resources.
  • Support advisors in integrating planning strategies into broader wealth management discussions.

Strategic Market Intelligence
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, regulatory developments, and advisor needs.
  • Gather advisor feedback and communicate recommendations to product, technology, and leadership teams.
  • Contribute insights to future product enhancements, sales initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities.

Collaboration
  • Partner with Insurance Solutions, Marketing, Technology, Business Development, and Advisor Support teams to drive advisor success.
  • Participate in conferences, advisor events, training programs, and internal meetings.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop initiatives that increase advisor adoption and business growth.

What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Financial Planning, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, insurance solutions, wealth management, or a related consultative sales environment.
  • Experience working directly with Financial Advisors strongly preferred.

Travel
