This position you'll provide strategic leadership across Transportation Services, Environmental Services, and Infrastructure Services while helping guide the Township's growth, sustainability, and long-term organizational success. What You'll Do:- Provides strategic leadership for Transportation, Environmental, and Infrastructure Services
- Leads long-term infrastructure planning, asset management, and capital investment strategies.
- Partners with the CAO and Council to support organizational planning and strategic decision-making.
- Oversees major infrastructure projects, engineering initiatives, and sustainable community growth.
- Provides leadership, direction, coaching, performance management, and operational oversight to direct reports while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Builds strong relationships with staff, Council, consultants, developers, regulatory agencies, and community partners.
- Provides executive oversight of the Township's water and wastewater services while building strong partnerships with OCWA, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For:- A university degree in Engineering, Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or similar professional designation.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, public works, infrastructure, environmental services, or transportation.
- 5 or more years of senior management experience.
- Collaborative leader who combines technical expertise with strategic vision.
- Experience leading capital infrastructure projects, strategic planning, and municipal operations.
- Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and leadership abilities.
- Political acuity and the ability to build trust with Council, staff, and the community.
- Valid G Drivers License.
