Chesapeake Health & Rehabilitation Center in Chesapeake is seeking a dynamic human resources professional who leads by example, maintains integrity, and enjoys working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. Our facility is part of the MFA/Vita/Innovative team of skilled nursing homes. Conveniently located off of Battlefield Blvd next to Chesapeake Hospital. Caring for up to 180 patients and employing approximately 150.

This position reports to the facility Administrator and is supported by a corporate Human Resources consultant who offers ongoing training and assistance. This highly visible position is responsible for developing and executing recruitment, retention and recognition processes that encourage a committed, customer-oriented workforce; assists with investigating and resolving complaints, problems and morale issues; and requires outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree with concentration in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience. Two years HR experience required, preferably in a health care setting. PHR or SPHR preferred.
