Full Job Description
About the Role

As the Director of Growth Strategy (Sales Strategy), you will own the strategy and operating system for improving the productivity of Nourish's fastest-growing patient acquisition channel. You will establish how we understand and improve sales performance: diagnosing its underlying drivers, identifying the highest-leverage opportunities, setting the roadmap, and building the team and operating system required to deliver measurable results.

You will lead the Sales Strategy & Operations team and serve as a core operating partner to Sales leadership. You will also bring together Enablement, Analytics, Product, and Engineering to solve the most important barriers to sales performance.

Reporting to our Head of Growth Strategy, this role combines first-principles strategy, people leadership, and hands-on execution. You will not inherit a mature playbook-you will help design how one of Nourish's most important growth engines operates as the company scales.

This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3+ days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Flatiron.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the sales productivity strategy: Establish a clear view of what drives rep productivity, where the greatest upside exists, and which outcomes matter most. Set targets and build the sequenced roadmap to improve performance in partnership with Sales Leadership and Enablement.
  • Turn the strategy into an executable plan: Translate the productivity roadmap into a focused set of initiatives with clear priorities, owners, success metrics, and resource requirements. Determine where the organization should invest-and what it should deprioritize-to achieve its goals.
  • Own the cross-functional operating model: Define how Sales Leadership, Enablement, Sales Strategy, Analytics, Product, and Engineering work together to execute the plan. Build the planning, measurement, and decision-making cadences required to identify performance gaps, turn insights into action, and hold teams accountable for results.
  • Build and lead the Sales Strategy function: Develop the existing team, determine the capabilities and organizational structure needed as the business scales, and hire against those needs. Set a high bar for strategic thinking, analytical rigor, execution, and people development across the function.
We'd love to hear from you if:
  • You have 6+ years of experience, with a mix of strategy work (e.g., management consulting, finance, business operations) and direct start-up experience
  • You've led high performing teams before and are an excellent people manager You're also willing to dig into the analysis and execution when the work requires it.
  • You are a first-principles thinker. You can take an ambiguous problem, identify the outcome that matters, break it into its underlying drivers, and design a practical path forward.
  • You are highly analytical and comfortable using imperfect data to identify performance gaps, make tradeoffs, and measure whether a strategy is working.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving environment where you must simultaneously set direction, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure important details do not get lost.
  • You are an exceptional cross-functional leader who can create clarity, establish accountability, and drive decisions across teams you do not directly manage.
  • Note: Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy or similar roles is strongly preferred.
