Full Job Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking a Director of Flow Cytometry and Scientific Operations to lead flow cytometry and cell sorting operations while overseeing key scientific and operational initiatives across the institutes. This hands-on leadership role will oversee researcher training, perform and support cell sorting, troubleshoot experimental protocols and instrumentation, develop assays and standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintain equipment, collaborate with vendors, and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance research capabilities. The Director will also partner with institute leadership and laboratory managers to optimize research operations and shared resources. Responsibilities include overseeing laboratory and equipment installations, data storage solutions, freezer and equipment monitoring systems, policy and procedure development, and other strategic operational initiatives that support the institutes' continued growth. Annual range: $108,900.00-$241,500.00
