POSITION SUMMARY:Under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance assists in developing and overseeing the necessary financial policies and controls for the protection of assets of the hospital to include all departments. They are responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, and strategizing to ensure long-term success.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a specialty such as finance, business administration or public health required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Professional Certification as a CPA, CFA, CMA, or CIMA preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare financial management required.
- Knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required.
