SUMMARY:Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Corporate Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial accounting responsibilities for the designated business divisions within the organization. The Divisional Controller is also responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning and analysis. The Corporate Controller will work closely with senior management and the financial team to ensure financial integrity and contribute to the company's growth and success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: - Manage the preparation of accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with accounting principles
- Oversee all accounting functions, including the month end close process and account analysis, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Develop and enforce strong internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and monitor budgets; provide variance analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Work with finance team to coordinate external audits, and address any findings or recommendations; ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assess and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPENTENCIES:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 7 years' of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate logical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Able to exercise sound judgment, is self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize key requirements in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Must be able to read, write and speak/understand English fluently
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This role is conducted in an office environment requiring some or all the following:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation
