The Director of Finance plays a critical role in supporting and partnering with Division leadership. Reporting to the LOB Finance Vice President, this position supports a $1B annual revenue organization. We are seeking a dynamic, strategic finance leader with expertise in program controls, financial systems, and reporting. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, strengthen business acumen across the organization, deliver actionable financial analysis, and support key decisions by senior executives.

Responsibilities:


Lead all aspects of Division financial management, including the leadership and development of finance professionals. Serve as a key stakeholder in long-range strategic planning, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial close activities. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly financial results and insights to senior executive leadership. Conduct in-depth revenue, margin, and expense analysis using data from multiple business systems. Oversee indirect cost and cash management. Develop meaningful KPIs, monitor performance, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Drive enterprise-wide improvements to business processes, systems, and financial work products. Ensure internal controls are effectively implemented, monitored, and maintained. Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in financial management, FP&A, program or project control, indirect rate management, and cash management.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to drive projects to completion, influence others, and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong financial modeler, analytical, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Candidates should also have experience with Costpoint, Cognos, and Hyperion
  • Strong understanding of government contract types, including cost-reimbursement, T&M, and FFP; and working knowledge of CAS, U.S. GAAP, and FAR requirements.
