Director of Finance & Administration
Location: Peabody, MA (On-Site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: 150k-185k
A well-established, precision manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Finance & Administration to serve as its senior internal financial leader. Reporting directly to the President and partnering closely with an external CFO, this executive leadership position offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, drive operational performance, and help shape the future of a growing organization.
This is far more than a traditional accounting leadership role. We're looking for a business-minded finance executive who thrives as a trusted advisor-someone who can translate financial data into strategic insight, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and provide leadership across Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and ERP administration.
If you're energized by helping leadership teams make better business decisions and enjoy working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment, we'd love to connect with you.
What You'll Do
As Director of Finance & Administration, you will:
- Serve as the primary financial advisor to the President and executive leadership team.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and scenario modeling processes.
- Deliver executive-level financial reporting, including P&L analysis, gross margin reporting, forecasting, and key business metrics.
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing, capital investments, operational performance, profitability, and business growth.
- Oversee the monthly financial close, internal controls, GAAP compliance, and audit readiness.
- Lead and develop the Finance team while creating scalable processes and operational discipline.
- Oversee strategic Human Resources administration, including benefits, HR policies, employee relations, and partnerships with external HR providers.
- Coordinate Information Technology and Epicor ERP vendor relationships, ensuring technology supports business growth and operational excellence.
- Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and executive leadership to improve financial performance across the organization.

- Executive financial strategy
- Business planning

You'll have the opportunity to influence decisions across every area of the business while serving as a trusted member of the executive leadership team.
