DescriptionOVERVIEWThis position is responsible for the strategic planning, governance, security, operation, and continuous enhancement of the technology ecosystem that supports employees, business operations, enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, and innovation initiatives. The Director of Enterprise Technology will oversee all aspects of corporate technology operations, including IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, technology governance, artificial intelligence initiatives, enterprise architecture, and technology financial management.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIT Operations, Infrastructure & Security
- Lead all internal IT operations and support services
- Oversee endpoint management, asset lifecycle management, and user support
- Manage Microsoft 365, identity and access management, and collaboration platforms
- Oversee Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives and compliance activities
- Maintain technology asset inventories and government-furnished equipment accountability processes
Enterprise Applications & Internal Platforms
- Own the enterprise application portfolio and associated technology roadmaps
- Oversee ServiceNow, Unanet, Paylocity, and other enterprise platforms
- Lead workflow automation and process improvement initiatives
- Manage platform upgrades, releases, integrations, and lifecycle planning
Innovation, AI & Emerging Technology
- Lead the company's internal AI strategy and capability development efforts
- Manage AI-related product roadmaps and development initiatives
- Evaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept efforts
- Drive employee adoption and enablement of AI-powered solutions
Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy
- Develop enterprise technology roadmaps
- Align business capabilities with enabling technologies
- Establish enterprise architecture standards and governance
- Lead technology portfolio management and application rationalization
Technology Business Management & Governance
- Develop and manage the annual technology budget
- Manage software licensing, renewals, vendors, and procurement
- Develop technology policies, standards, and procedures
- Support audits, assessments, and compliance activities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
- 5+ years leading enterprise technology, IT operations, or business systems organizations
- Experience managing Azure and/or AWS environments
- Experience leading cybersecurity, compliance, and governance initiatives
- Experience managing enterprise applications and SaaS platforms
- Experience overseeing software development, product ownership, or agile delivery teams
- Experience developing and managing technology budgets
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience supporting federal government contractors or highly regulated organizations
- Familiarity with NIST, CMMC, ISO, and CMMI frameworks
- Experience with ServiceNow administration, governance, or product ownership
- Experience implementing enterprise AI initiatives
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, AWS, Azure, PMP, TOGAF, or ServiceNow
